I am currently COMPLETELY addicted to the BBC Quiz Show - "QI " with Stephen Fry as the quiz master.
Mr Fry is currently rocketing to the top of my Englishmen-I -must -meet- when -I-get- to -London list; close to Mr Izzard (although I am not revealing in which direction) and WAAAAY out in front of Sir Elton and Mr Michaels (bless em both).
David Tennent is also on the list, but not in advance of Izzard and Fry.

David Tennant is in fact Scottish. I know this, because I went to University with him. I can arrange an introduction, for a fee….

David Tennant is indeed Scottish with quite a foxy accent to boot, when he lets it out. Given I am developing quite a taste for Scottish accents, you would think I would have gotten that one right. My apologies.

No Apology required, Robert. David’s perfectly clipped English vowels in Dr Who make it an easy mistake to make, as his own broad Scottish brogue is as thick as, oh, John Barrowman’s (another closet Scot)Och aye the nooX
