Did you know know that the French President, Nicholas Sarkozy is only 5’5″? And that’s in flats, apparently he wears shoes with a 2″ rise in them, getting him to a towering 5’7″.

At a recent photo opportunity at a factory in France, apparently the crowd was hand picked to ensure that none was taller than Le President.

On a related theme, M. Sarkozy was in a group photograph at the G8 Summit and in the full version of the picture can be seen standing on tippy toes.

Nothing wrong with short, Monsieur, if you accept it. Short guys can be tres chaud and a heap of fun.
