Photo Album
To
put a photo album on the web does seem a little conceited, but I guess that
there isn't much modest about bearing my soul to the planet so why stop there.
To pull some of this together has involved a reasonable amount of checking to
ensure that people are happy with me showing them off to the wide, wide world.
If I missed you somehow and you arrive here to find that you are horrified by
your picture being shown to the world - drop
me a line and I will take it down or modify it appropriately.
One of the problems I have is that a lot of the recent photos I have are also on James site. If you are coming here from there, you will just have to wade through to find the new material. New photos are all in my flickr albums which you can find both here and on the main flickr site.
Due to a number of family disasters, this is just about the only picture of my childhood. It was taken by my father when I was around 4. We were on a family holiday to Canberra and while my mother and sister visited the Science museum, Alan took me to the War Museum. Its one of those days that kind of stands out in a kids memory - bright and golden. That might sound a bit Disney-esq, but there you have it. We can all be victims to nostalgia.
My Father was an RAAF pilot in WW2 but did not serve in the war - a little too young. He did however have wonderful stories to tell about the war and what had happened. My Father was kind of fascinated with the War, and particularly with aircraft. I had an immaculate collection of model planes made for me as a child.
